Still, I pity you - it isn't nice. They will give you a painkiller which is very effective when it takes hold but I wasn't offered any sedative as an option. The stent is an unpleasant thing to have inside you :( best of luck! Well, I have all this to come.....Nnoooooooo!! I was told I may have kidney cancer but when they did the cystoscopy, they discovered a stone and introduced a stent without my knowledge. I've never felt such discomfort and it's only been inside me just over a week. I can't really walk around without feeling I have to pee and the only time I'm comfortable is when I am lying down in bed. I want to ask for a strong sedative when I have mine removed. I've been told by people who have had this already not to be brave and to demand some pain relief. Glad yours is all over, but what is the alternative???? Quelle horreur!!!
